Video infrastructure, reinvented

Enterprise-grade
video infrastructure.
Reinvented.

Built on a fundamentally different architecture that delivers dramatically better economics without compromising reliability.

Architecture
Architected for lower cost
Not discounted pricing. Lower infrastructure cost by design.
Reliability
Enterprise reliability
Performance and uptime suitable for production workloads.
Migration
Simple migration
Switch using our API and migration tools.
Built differently

Traditional video platforms keep adding servers.

We redesigned the economics.

Why we exist

Video is entering a new era.

Every company is becoming a video company. AI products ship video. Education runs on it. Media, fitness, commerce and internal tooling all depend on it.

Infrastructure cost is becoming one of the largest barriers to growth. AntCDN changes the economics behind video delivery.

AI
Generated and processed video at volumes no roadmap planned for.
Education
Course libraries that grow every term and are watched every day.
Media
Catalogues where delivery cost decides what stays online.
Streaming
Audiences that scale faster than the margin behind them.
Positioning

Better economics create better infrastructure.

Traditional providers built their platforms around expensive cloud architectures. AntCDN was engineered differently.

That architectural difference allows us to deliver video at a fraction of the cost while maintaining the reliability production teams expect.

Cost
Structural, not promotional
Our price is what our infrastructure costs, plus a margin we can hold.
Quality
Nothing traded away
Up to 4K, adaptive bitrate, and the encoding controls your team expects.
Control
Your player, your stack
Standard HLS works with Shaka, hls.js, native playback, or our iframe.
Visibility
Analytics built for operators
Segments served, resolution distribution, and usage trends.
What this means for you
Video stops being the line item you defend
Ship in HD and 4K without flinching
Delivery is billed at one flat rate, so higher quality does not multiply your bill.
Forecast spend a year out
Usage based pricing with no bandwidth caps and no overage cliffs to plan around.
Keep the growth you win
Audience growth stops eating the margin that funds the rest of your product.
The short answer

Why AntCDN costs less.

Not because we charge less. Because we built differently.

Traditional platforms inherit infrastructure decisions made a decade ago. AntCDN was designed from day one around a more efficient architecture, allowing us to pass those savings directly to customers.

Resolution carries no penalty
Delivery is one flat rate. Moving your catalogue to 4K does not multiply your invoice.
Private costs the same as public
Securing a video does not move it onto a more expensive path or a higher tier.
No caps, no overage cliffs
You are billed for what you deliver, not pushed onto an enterprise plan for growing.
So why can't the incumbents just match it?

Because pricing is downstream of architecture. Matching our economics would mean rebuilding the delivery path every one of their customers depends on, and unwinding a decade of infrastructure commitments made around it. We started with none of that to defend, and we are still making it more efficient.

The bill

What a real month costs.

Security model

Private video. Same speed, same price.

Lock down sensitive content with signed URLs and expirations, and keep the simplicity of standard HLS playback. Securing a video does not slow it down, and it does not cost more.

Signed playback
Sign URLs with RS256 and set expirations to reduce link sharing and scraping.
Server-side API keys
Authenticate API requests via X-Api-Key headers. Keep keys out of the browser.
Built-in analytics
Inspect segments served, daily usage, storage, and resolution distribution.
Integration

Integrate in minutes, not sprints.

Upload with a signed URL or ingest directly from your bucket. Serve with standard HLS across the players you already use.

Upload
Pre-signed URL flow
Keep credentials off clients while allowing direct uploads.
Ingest
Bring your own bucket
Ingest from a URL (gs:// or https://) to fit existing data pipelines.
Example upload flows
python
import requests
import os
import mimetypes

API_BASE = "https://api.antcdn.net/v1"
API_KEY = os.environ["ANTCDN_API_KEY"]

def upload_via_presign(file_path: str) -> None:
    filename = os.path.basename(file_path)
    content_type = mimetypes.guess_type(filename)[0] or "application/octet-stream"

    # 1) request a signed upload URL
    resp = requests.post(
        f"{API_BASE}/videos/upload-url",
        headers={"X-Api-Key": API_KEY},
        json={"fileName": filename, "allowPublicAccess": False},
        timeout=60,
    )
    resp.raise_for_status()
    signed_url = resp.json()["body"]["signedURL"]
    asset_id = resp.json()["body"]["assetId"]

    # 2) PUT the file directly to storage
    with open(file_path, "rb") as f:
        put = requests.put(
            signed_url,
            data=f,
            headers={"Content-Type": content_type},
            timeout=60,
        )
        put.raise_for_status()

    # That's it. We will process your video and make it ready for delivery.
    print("assetId:", asset_id)

upload_via_presign("/path/to/video.mp4")
Quality control

Quality is a product decision. Keep control.

AntCDN gives you two levers: a quality preset (caps bitrate and resolution), and FFmpeg controls (encoding speed vs quality trade-offs at a given bitrate).

Preset
Resolution + bitrate caps
Set ceilings that match your brand and device mix.
FFmpeg
Speed vs quality
Choose faster encodes or higher compression efficiency.
Why it matters
Ship consistent playback everywhere
Control quality, control cost, and control user experience, without losing player compatibility.
